  • NFCS (National Financial Capability Study) CSV US — U.S. survey data on financial behaviors, attitudes, knowledge, and access to financial products. Six waves (2009–2024), ~25,000 respondents per wave. Free download in .dta, .csv, and .sav formats. By the FINRA Foundation.
  • LISS Panel (Longitudinal Internet Studies for the Social Sciences) CSV — Dutch household panel of ~7,500 individuals from a probability sample drawn by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). Annual Core Study since 2007 covering income, health, education, values, and economic behavior. Free for academic research. Managed by Centerdata (Tilburg University).
  • DNB Household Survey (DHS) CSV — Dutch household survey on economic and psychological aspects of financial behavior. Annual panel since 1993, covering savings, portfolio choice, wealth, income, health, and psychological concepts. Free for academic research. Managed by Centerdata (Tilburg University), commissioned by De Nederlandsche Bank.
  • ECB Household Finance and Consumption Survey (HFCS) — Household-level data on income, wealth, consumption, and debt across Euro area countries. Useful for studying wealth distribution, financial behavior, and the impact of monetary policy on households.
  • ECB SAFE Survey — Survey on the Access to Finance of Enterprises. Covers SME financing needs, access to credit, and perceived barriers to funding across Europe.
  • Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances (SCF) CSV US — Detailed data on U.S. households' balance sheets, pensions, income, and demographics. Triennial survey (latest: 2022) with a focus on wealth distribution. Download available.
  • University of Michigan Survey of Consumers FRED US — Monthly data on U.S. consumer sentiment, expectations, and attitudes towards economic conditions. Widely used as a leading indicator in macro-finance research.
